Metal Insert Lock Nuts

Metal Insert Lock Nut is a nut that locks into place by creating pressure on the metal insert at the top of the thread against the fastener, so it will not vibrate and become loose. The Metal Insert Lock Nut is not temperature or chemical limited in applications, compared to Nylon Insert. Additionally, the lock nuts are reusable, but their holding power will reduce overtime.
